I have two guest rooms. The kids stay in them when they come. The first one I started with had stickers all over the walls from previous owners. There was no way to get them off without ripping the top layer of drywall. Even when we heated them. Those people need to learn about removable stickers.

The new color theme of the room will be white walls with orange colors. In Feng shui it’s in the fame and reputation area of the house.
The bed is a full size bed. You will notice it’s pretty high. That’s because it was a loft bed that my grandson didn’t like so I cut it down. I kept it a bit high so I can store items under it.

I made shelves with 1×4’s. I planned out my measurements and had Lowes cut it all out for me.
On the bottom I mounted a cheap Walmart shelf. It was cheaper than buying the wood. I added a top so I could make it a nightstand and I put legs on it to snazz it up a bit. I love the new look. If you have questions or comments please hit me up below.

I cut down the headboard and covered it with a curtain I got on clearance at Kohls.
Let’s see before and after shots

What do you think? Improvement or no?
Hey love the improvements. You know I miss you and your ideas around here!
